Response Post #3

Hi Shuyao,

Very good post! Very real! I’m glad to know that you are someone who is very active on social media. I admire people like you because they always bring energy to others. As you said, information spreads quickly, so we must be cautious when making statements. This is because such content may have a negative impact on us. I’m sorry to hear that you have experienced being deceived, but your ending was good. I remember I had a similar experience. A few months ago, I received a phone call claiming that my bank account in China was at risk and that I needed to provide him with personal information and transfer 10000 yuan. Fortunately, I was not in a hurry and repeatedly asked him for my Chinese name, but he only knew my English name. Later, I realized that he was a scammer. I suspect my personal information is leaking, which makes me cautious. As you said, the Internet is developing rapidly, and we should learn and cultivate digital literacy, which is a very important and cannot be ignored thing.

Thank you very much for sharing

Hi Eliza,

Great second blog post! Your website looks great! The links in the post have given me a deeper understanding of digital identity. I completely agree with your approach, and I often share memories, photos of myself and my friends and family on social media. In your post, you mentioned that you set your account to private, which I agree with because it greatly protects yourself and those around you. In addition, you pointed out that you have another separate account, which I think is necessary because it can better separate your life and work. At the same time, it can better protect one’s privacy and is also very beneficial for protecting one’s image. For me, I have many friends on social media myself, but there are some that I don’t feel very familiar with I think it’s necessary for me to create another account, which may better protect my privacy. I will learn from you.

Thank you for Sharing!

Hi Zihao Wang,

Thank you for your post on digital literacy, I am really enjoy this.what an interesting perspective.I agree with your definition of digital identity. Digital identity refers to the image and existence of a person in cyberspace, which includes all information and behaviors published by individuals on the Internet. Therefore, I am very strict when publishing posts, and I often avoid publishing photos with strangers. This is very similar to you. In addition, you mentioned that you share interesting things in your life and your love for photography on social media platforms. This reminds me of myself. My hobby is cooking, so I often post photos of delicious food and travel, which record my footsteps Your post is very clear, with some photos and videos, but you can add some of your photography works, which may be more helpful in explaining how to manage your privacy. These are just some of my personal suggestions!

Thank you for sharing

Jerry
